Business development manager

Job Description

The key responsibilities of the Business Development Manager are to promote the Company’s business, notably regarding immigration cases, generating leads and meeting sales goals. The individual in this role will also collaborate with the Marketing function in the planning and execution of company marketing activities providing vital input based on his/her interactions with prospects.

Lawyer

The key responsibilities of the Lawyer are:

to advise high net worth individuals on secondary residence and citizenship-by-investment opportunities;
to provide legal advice to the Marketing, Business Development and Paralegal/Processing teams on promoting Immigration programs and offering professional services to clients.

Main Duties of the Role

  • Handle cases related to immigration, corporate, and business law. Additional areas may include mergers and acquisitions (M&A), international trade, foreign investment, real estate, finance, banking, labor law, and other relevant fields.
  • Draft and/or review legal opinions, client proposals, contracts, and other legal documents for both external and internal purposes.
  • Conduct legal research and analyze relevant information and documentation.
  • Provide legal advice to clients.
  • Meet with clients to assess their needs and prepare case files.
  • Participate in file review and briefing sessions, especially to prepare clients for immigration interviews.
  • Accompany clients to immigration interviews when necessary.
  • Ensure quality control, KYC procedures, and compliance with office regulations.
  • Take part in firm-organized activities such as seminars, events, and training sessions in Vietnam and abroad to promote the firm’s image and services. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned from time to time. You should at all times conduct yourself in accordance with all ethical rules applicable to you, local regulations and the Firm’s internal rules.

 

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Valid lawyer license in Vietnam and international candidates with a valid lawyer license in their country of origin
  • Excellent English oral and writing skills,
  • Professional ethics, reliability, and a commitment to strict confidentiality; and
  • Self-motivated and committed to self-improvement

Desirable Skills & Experience

  • Prior work experience at a professional global service company;
  • Prior experience working on immigration, mobility service;
  • Prior work experience in a multicultural workplace;
  • Fluent in English is a plus.
