Grenada Intercontinental La Sagesse

The Grenada Citizenship by Investment Program, through the InterContinental La Sagesse option, gives an applicant over 18 citizenship for life that applies to future generations. The investment is a qualifying share in the InterContinental Hotel at La Sagesse, a five-star property whose construction began in May 2022 and which operates as a member of IHG Hotels and Resorts. A share costs USD 270,000 and is developed by Range Developments, which has completed projects across the Caribbean, with each shareholder entitled to one week of free personal use per year that may be redeemed at various hotels during the construction period. An application can include a spouse, children under 30, parents and grandparents of any age, and single siblings over 18 with no children. Grenadian citizens travel visa-free to over 140 countries, including the UK, the EU, Russia, and China, may qualify for a USA E-2 visa, face no residency requirement, and pay no tax on worldwide income. Processing runs 6 to 9 months.

1. Must be over 18 years old
2. Have no criminal record
3. Apply through an authorised agent
4. Have not been denied a visa from any visa-free country with no subsequent visa approval
5. The applicant and family members must not be suffering from any contagious disease and must be in good health
6. The application must be submitted through a government-authorised agent

Process (6 to 9 months)

1. Submit the completed application forms and required documents via an authorised agent
2. Payment of reservation fee, application, and due diligence fees
3. Completion of the due diligence process
4. The Grenada Citizenship by Investment Committee gives its recommendation to the relevant minister
5. A decision will be advised approximately 3 to 6 months after application submission
6. Transfer of the investment amount to Grenada
7. Issuance of Grenadian citizenship and passport generally within two months from completion of the investment
